The setting was gorgeous, the kids were adorable and the bunnies were fluffy...what more could we ask for?? I love our little Easter/Spring Mini Sessions...just enough time to capture the kids smiles and their excitement with the rabbits.

What a beautiful spring we have had so far! I have met some new clients and seen many others grow. I love this time of year...new beginnings, new babies, green grass, warm weather, colorful flowers, and gorgeous sunsets.

2016 Year in Review!

Again...another year has come and gone and I was so blessed to have a wonderful clientele that continues to make my "job" fun, exciting, easy and creative! I love being challenged in creativity, love meeting new families, and especially love seeing all my little bitty babies grow up!

2015 Year in Review...(New Braunfels Photographer)

I can't believe that this year has come and gone so quickly. I remember as a kid it was always so slow and school just kept going on and on but as an adult it just passes by so incredibly fast! As a parent of two very active girls, I just keep telling myself to stop and enjoy every little thing we do as a family and all the little and big accomplishments the girls do because in only 8 short years our oldest will be headed to college...so crazy to think about! 

But back to 2015...it was an incredible year for Caressa Captures and for our family. I had a record amount of sessions, got to meet many new families and saw my "regulars" and how big the kids have grown and welcomed many new babies into this world. I started offering Fresh 48 hospital pictures (which are one of my favorite sessions) and now these are a big request!  As for our family, we had an awesome family summer trip where we explored a new area of the US (The Grand Circle), the girls are continuing to move up levels in gymnastics and we found a new home church. 

Life just can't get much better it seems!

Miss Audrey's Newborn Session {New Braunfels Photographer}

Miss Audrey was right at 10 days new when we did her newborn pictures in her family's beautiful new home. She had to stay in the NICU for a few days but is all better now! She was a perfect model and even gave us a few little smiles. Her momma did a great job in decorating her fabulous room. It is just perfect for a little girl!

Back to School 2015 {New Braunfels Photographer}

Back to School has come and gone and we are all now in a routine...kinda! These were some of the cuties that I got to capture for their back to school pics. Everyone came ready in their new clothes and big smiles for pictures. Love this time of year! Now if we can get cooler weather it will be perfect.

 Quinn's mom rocked it! First a simple but hip cute outfit, then a few pics in the buff because what 1yr old isn't cute naked and then the ombre pinks with gold accents for the cake smash. She thought of everything!

Maternity/Fresh 48/Newborn {San Antonio Newborn Photographer}

I met the Franklin family a few years ago when their oldest, Julia, was a newborn. Since then, I have watched Julia grow (and sometimes she wasn't too much into our photo sessions) and now into a big wonderful sister. They asked me to capture their journey from maternity, to the morning when Sophia was born and Julia got to meet her for the first time and then a week later for Sophia's newborn pictures. This family is so awesome...they laugh hard but  love even harder!

Mini Maternity & Newborn {San Antonio Photographer}

 

I met this family a few years ago when their oldest was just a year old. Now, she a big sister who absolutely LOVES her little brother! 

They invited me back to their beautiful family property where we took their mini-maternity session. It was a beautiful evening of warmth, sun, trees and a perfectly round belly.

 

Then a month later, I went back to their magazine styled home to meet Mr. Will. He wasn't to sleepy that morning but sure did love cuddles from his family. His big sister couldnt stop kissing him!   

 This gorgeous family booked me for their Mini Maternity/Newborn package. 

I love getting to see families grow year after year! 

Maternity Sessions... {New Braunfels Family Photographer}

I remember being pregnant and not wanting my picture taken but now I wish I had more big belly pictures to show my kids! Mini Maternity sessions are turning into one of my favorite types of photography. Mothers are glowing and excited about this next step in life and Dads think their wives are gorgeous and want them to show off the belly. I have so many maternity sessions lined up this Spring already. So excited for these family's to grow! 

These are our immediate neighbors and they are expecting their first child, a boy, in just a few weeks. Our street is majority girls so he will have lots of ladies watching over him and telling him what todo. ha. It will be so much fun to watch him grow! 

 

  This next couple is from my hometown and expecting a boy! We met up in Gruene one gorgeous morning and captured their happiness during this 9 months process.  I loved that she wanted to show off her beautiful belly.

2014....What a Year! {New Braunfels Photographer}

I can't express enough how lucky I am to have this so called "job"! I get to meet new people, hold precious babies, play with kids, hear seniors future plans WHILE getting to capture memories that will be seen for years to come. God gave us each special talents and I truly feel that mine is to help preserve precious moments so future generations will not just see their family members sitting and smiling BUT feel their personalities through pictures!

Fresh 48 {hospital newborn photography}

ABSOLUTELY  love these sweet intimate sessions! It captures the first surrounds of the new family, the love and excitement in the parents eyes, and the delight of others when they visit. The "Fresh 48" is done within the first 48 hours of birth in the hospital. This session captures all the details: the names on the door, the hospital bracelets, the loving exchange of looks between the parents of their perfect baby and possibly the first meeting of siblings. These are moments that are quickly forgot once you leave.

Summer 2014...{New Braunfels Family/Child Photographer}

What a summer!! Can't believe it has come and gone and we are already in the fourth week of school.  This summer sped by and I met a lot of beautiful babies, said "Congrats" to many expecting momma's, asked boys & girls if they were "Ready to Go Back to School?", and got to play and run around with tons of kids!  These folks braved the heat and got pictures done early! I am so blessed to have met all of these families and become close with so many!

 Now, the busy Fall season is upon us and hopefully cooler weather is in the forecast! Can't wait to meet new families and see how big previous client kiddos have grown!
